· Integrated Services (i.e. Children’s Trust, Youth Support and Extended Schools).
· Children’s Specialist Services.
· Development and Commisioning.
· Leisure and Culture, Libraries, Adult and Community Learning.
Children Families and Learning Services Director
Edwina Grant is the Director of Children, Families and Learning.
Edwina’s previous role was as the Corporate Director of Children’s Services for Nottingham City Council where she successfully integrated education services that resulted in Nottingham's children being better served and having better prospects.
Edwina is also an adviser to the Local Government Association and is a Board Member of the National Children’s Bureau. Before joining Nottingham City, Edwina spent 20 years in local government posts with a number of councils including Director of Children’s Services at the London Borough of Redbridge. Prior to this she was a teacher and special educational need specialist.
